Next Sat, June 27, starting at 10 am @ Laytonsville GC in Gaithersburg, LL will have its 2-person team Best Ball Tournament!

This is a fun game.  If you have never played, the rules in brief are below.

Let me know if you are playing, and if you have a partner already.  If you don't we'll pair you up.

Also, this is handicapped.  If you have an LL handicap, we'll use that.  If you have one someplace else, let me know.  If you don't have a handicap at all, we'll see what we can do.

BTW, the course is fun with several challenging holes, but overall not too difficult.  Great for low scores!  Green fees are $52, and an optional cart is $10..  There is also a small prize fund contribution of $5.  There will be lots of prizes.

Rules in Brief:
A better name would be "better score" for your team hole score is the better score of yours and your partner.  Plus it is handicapped -- everyone will get a certain number of strokes based on his/her handicap.  So your net score is your score minus the number of strokes you get for that hole.  So if you shoot a 5, but you get 2 strokes, then your net score is 3.  If you partner's net score is 4, then your team score is 3 (the better score).  Your total team score then is the total of your better scores.  This means:  LOW SCORES!  It is a lot simpler than it sounds.  Everything will be on the scorecard.  Email lambdalinks@yahoo.com if you'd like to play.
